Tiffany was invited to be the Artist in Residence for a three day retreat of non-profit leaders. She performed music and led Kintsugi workshops. Here is a summary of the event purpose:
“Despite the horror and anxiety of our national headlines, a quiet movement fueled by persistent
hope has been growing. Converging from a wide variety of sectors, this movement shares a
common conviction of place-based innovation, ideas, and opportunities.
However, there is a question about whether place is a powerful enough love to bind a people in
these fractious times. There is also a tension between being distinctly place-based within a
sector and building national momentum across multiple sectors. The leaders and movements
focusing on place consistently get invited to speak and contribute within their sectors, but rarely
across sectors. We are hoping to change that.
We want you to consider joining us at a boutique, invitation-only gathering of the following
sectors at the leading edge of place-based innovation.
Sectors represented will include economic development, philanthropy, civic engagement and
policy, faith-based, thought leadership, urban planning, crime prevention, and family and
community support.”
