Hi, I’m Tiffany. Welcome to Found Love.
In a time when power and ego create headlines, sex sells records, and controversy boosts streams, I’m carving out a different path with intention, reflection, and collaboration for the healing of the world.
Over the past five years, I’ve been slowly working on a record, treating the creative process more like a barn raising than a manufacturing line; my dark nights merging with silver linings to form art that feels more given than made.
Author Frederick Buechner wrote many books about the suicide of his father and said that the reason he talked about his own pain so much was because what is most personal is also what is most universal. This simple phrase was a guiding light in the making of “Found Love.” By revealing the crevices and fissures of my own heartbreak and healing, I hope to help others on their healing journeys as well. Because it turns out that the places we mend ourselves are the places we can help mend the world.
But who listens to records these days? Who is going to sit down with a cup of tea for an hour or two and let the healing power of this music, lyric, and layers wash over them? How are people going to know there is a body of work inviting them to be still and reflect on their lives?
When pondering these questions, the immediate answer is social media. Do some TikTok videos! But I knew the record deserved something richer to accompany it. Something that would slow people down, pique their curiosity. A beautiful combination of words, images, stories, and videos leading someone to linger, because I believe this new record is made for lingering, for deeper kinds of listening.
The release of this record will start on July 1, 2025, and continue for 16 months. Every 1st of the month, a new single will be born into the world. Who knows where we’ll be on Nov 1, 2026…
As a whole, Found Love is a hero's journey, moving through the call to adventure to the abyss of loss to the restoration of returning home. But, since we live in an age of singles, each song is also a stand-alone experience exploring two primary themes: character traits forged through heartbreak and the spaces we go to heal.
If a listener simply passes by this album, they can still catch a whiff of its healing message. But if someone slows down, reads the lyrics, and lets the music wash over them, I truly believe there is a formative experience to be had. Like rain gently expanding the width of a river, so too can these songs expand the healing of the world.
Across the body of work, nature is the primary healer. I wrote most of the album while living on a farm in a forest. Water, birds, wind, branches, and weather show up constantly in the lyrics. Another idea that shows up a lot is faith. Faith in love. Faith in faith. Faith lost, faith found. Faith is at the core of a hero’s journey. A grand quest sparked by love that leads to love.
As you listen to the record, I hope you find yourself in the lyrics. But don’t look for me. I’m already gone, off living the life that will lead me to the next record. This album is now its own world, inviting you to get to know it.
