Last year, I shared about my journey into the Japanese art of Kintsugi and was delighted to expand those reflections in a recent podcast conversation with Grounding Journey.
In the episode, the host, Cris Greer, and I discuss how the process of Kintsugi can be a poignant metaphor for embracing the fragmented parts of human existence and finding beauty in every scar and failure. Through the meditative practice of mending with intention, the gold-filled cracks become symbols of our resilience and capacity for renewal. On my own journey, I’ve learned that the spiritual journey of being 'broken open' is always a precursor to the the light of growth and expansion of awareness.
